Last week, my short film, “Fusion,” became an Official Selection for Chicago Indie Film Awards and then a Semi-Finalist. It also was accepted as an Official Selection for the Vegas Film Awards.
Yesterday brought an email from Cannes Short Film Festival with an invitation and Special Code to submit.
As if that didn’t please me enough, Vegas Film Awards notified me this morning that it is a Semi-Finalist in First-time Screenwriter Category.
Considering that hopes were that Official Selection would be all that could be expected, I’m beyond words. But, when it comes to stage and screenwriting, the words are only half the cake. So, I have to thank the director, Mark Savage, and actors Cris Felipe and Paul London for bringing life to the script.
